Marc was once a tyre and exhaust fitter.

Marc plays music because, he says, it beats working for a living.

Apart from a two year residence in Durban, South Africa, Marc has lived his whole life in and around Inverness. His favourite sight is five minutes after Daviot, coming up the A9, when the hills drop away and the Highland Capital reveals itself. He sometimes gets a wee whiskey coated tear in the corner of his eye which he dabs away with a tartan handkerchief.

If he were a sportsman, Marc would play snooker or boxing. He is allergic to tequila and does not think highly of the film Chicago. Marc thinks that the most worthwhile invention in human history is the Pen, and you can write that down.

Refusing to let the teacher's strikes of the mid eighties impede their education, Marc and a female schoolmate took it upon themselves to further their knowledge of biology and both received a first.

By his own admission Marc lives “In abject squalor” on a farm outside Inverness with his wife and conversational buddy Nyle. He takes tea, Chai if you have it, milk and two either way.
