Matured in the Highlands and aged in a sourmash cask, The Lush Rollers forge music from calloused hands and tough tender hearts. The thinking man's drinkers, they sing from the soul of a long week just ended, through Friday night party glee to Sunday morning remorse. One breathy journalist described them as:
"...Harmony-saturated country buckled pop. Think of the Beach Boys singing Neil Young with AC/DC on drums and a kilted Sly Stone on bass and you’re close to one of the most successful underground bands in this part of the country." (Highland News, Dec 2005)
But no amount of comparison can do their unique style justice. A picture maybe painted, but they are a force to behold with the ears and guts, an emotional audio experience. All the same, here are the written testimonies of other who have discovered the wonder of The Lush Rollers.
