His mothers’ great grandfather was an organ grinder, an itinerant musician with the Italian army. His father was a poet, harmonica player, drummer and all round Renaissance man with an extensive classic vinyl collection he shared enthusiastically. Robin spent nineteen years as an avid listener before he fell into being a musician.
A friend from school was starting a band and wondered if Robin would sing. Robin didn’t know if he could, but being young and open to new things he gave it a try and found a voice. Not any old voice, but a surprisingly good one. And so it all began.
Soon he picked up a guitar and found a few chords, then a few more. Two years later he was the band's singer and bass player, writing songs, playing gigs, making records. Many years and bands later, Robin continues to do so with no sign of relent nor loss of rapture.
